Our Amateratsu or The Sun Goddess is our most deluxe and luxurious treatment offered at Tokyo Headspa. You will enjoy an intensive scalp & hair treatment using Japanese Mist Therapy and deep relaxation from our Japanese Head Bath. You will also receive an extensive upper body massage as well as facial reflexology. The Sun Goddess is sure to make you feel as pampered as royalty.

Starting with our mandatory scalp and hair health check by our skilled therapists the detox process starts with Japanese Mist Scalp & Hair Therapy. An ultrasonic oscillator vibrating at 1.6 million times per second will detoxify your scalp. You will then be given the choice of Tea Tree Kombucha or Sea Salt Scrub detoxification products for our therapists to cleanse your scalp with using our signature detoxifying massage. Our therapist will then apply the rejuvenation hair treatment by hand and provide a head massage. Next, you will experience the ultimate relaxation as your head is soaked in a warm bath while a gentle flow of warm water falls on your forehead from our signature Japanese waterfall. This will slow your heartbeat and take you to a place of tranquillity and calmness. Our therapist will then apply the rejuvenation hair treatment by hand and provide a head massage. Fine mist will be used to accelerate absorption of the hair treatment into your hair. This is followed by a traditional Japanese neck and shoulders relaxation massage. You will then receive the final hair conditioning treatment before a simple dry-off.

Your Sun Goddess treatment will conclude with a massage and facial reflexology. Starting from the head and scalp, down to the neck, shoulders, arms and finishing with the hands. Reflexology techniques will then be applied that can help provide better quality sleep, healthier skin and increased energy.

Our Nemuri Hime or Sleeping Princess is a 130-minute treatment that inviting you to a deep state of calm and relaxation. The experience begins with a scalp and hair health check by our skilled therapists. At the start of the treatment you will be given the choice of either a Japanese Head Bath or Japanese Mist Scalp & Hair Therapy.

Japanese Head Bath: After two rounds shampoo and conditioner, you will enjoy a warm Head Bath. Experience the ultimate relaxation as your head is soaked in a warm bath while a gentle flow of warm water falls on your forehead from our signature Japanese waterfall. This will slow your heartbeat and take you to a place of tranquillity and calmness.

From there you are treated to a head massage with our first of three hair conditioning treatments. This is followed by our second hair treatment — a leave-on treatment — followed by a traditional Japanese neck and shoulders relaxation massage while seated. Your third hair conditioning treatment is then performed before a simple dry-off.
